As residents of Rhone Lane for 30 years, we are justifiably upset about the way OC San has bullied & lied to us. You're saying we have encroached on the easement. Telling us we have been notified several times to move these encroachments. We have not once been notified by OC San in the 30 years we have lived here. We deserve & request more time (until at least June 1st) to collaboratively work with OC San to come up with alternate solutions. Thank you.
Chairman Wanke, we find it funny how the city you represent, the city of Placentia, sued Woodruff Law Firm for MALPRACTICE and yet you are using that same firm to sue the residents on Rhone Lane. Malpractice is not okay when its against your constituents but its okay when its another board members constituents?
I am writing to express my strong opposition to proceeding with a lawsuit against the homeowners of Rhone Lane pertaining to the easement to take our land. I believe engaging in a lawsuit may not serve our long term goal. Instead, I propose exploring alternative solutions and negotiation. By fostering communication and seeking common ground, we may be able to find a mutually beneficial resolution without resorting to litigation. Let us exhaust all possible avenues for resolution. Thank you.
My name is Tanya Sapp and I am a resident on Rhone Lane. As 50-year residents, deeply involved in community service, my family urge an extension until June 30th to review OC Sanitation's proposed easement reclamation. Let's collaborate for a solution respecting homeowners and preserving community integrity. Our contributions deserve acknowledgment, and a thoughtful approach will benefit all stakeholders in the long term.
Dear OC San Board- like many residents of Rhone Ln I am disturbed by the draconian measure by which you wish to forcibly take from my possession over 1000sqft of my backyard for no justifiable reason! Your own engineer has admitted to us, multiple times, that there is nothing wrong with the pipe, it can be relined, no reason for it to be replaced. Although I am happy to work with you toward an amicable solution, confiscation of my land is unwarranted. This effort is a waste of OUR tax dollars!
My name is Kozo Terajima and I have been a homeowner on Rhone Lane since 2006, 17 years. To tell you a little bit about myself, I immigrated to the US over 40 years ago. I left my home country of Japan to pursue the American Dream. I barely spoke any English yet was lucky enough to be given a visa by the New Otani Hotel, now Hilton Hotel, in Little Tokyo Los Angeles. I worked extremely hard all days of the week to promote the widely known and popular Japanese cuisine of sushi.
